BLACKSHERE has collaborated with Grammy Award winning artist LL COOL J for his final Def Jam album Exit 13, co-writing 3 songs and performing on 6. She has also worked with Grammy nominated DJ/Producer MOBY, KAT DELUNA and WYCLEF JEAN among others. She has recently joined forces with downtown scene queen and star maker LADY STARLIGHT, who is credited for helping launch the career of international pop star LADY GAGA.

Am 6. August 2010 erscheint mit „Dark Crooning“ die erste poppig-düstere EP (3 Tracks) als Auftakt einer Viererserie von Yannick Aellen auf DSQT.

„Dark Crooning“ lanciert endlich Yannick Aellens langjährige schöpferische Zusammenarbeit mit dem Produzenten seiith. Zwischen Liverpool, London, Zürich und Berlin entstanden düstere, elektronische Popsongs. Das leicht an Depeche Mode erinnernde „The devil (is a woman I never slept with)“ wurde bereits Laufsteg- und Lieblingssong des Berliner Fashion-Labels Kaviar Gauche. Für das britisch-taiwanesische Label Victim by Mei Hui Liu ist Yannick Aellens Musik bereits seit langem Programm.

Yannick Aellen hat bereits für verschiedenste Modelabels- und events (Louis Vuitton, Miu Miu, Todd Lynn, Stella/Swiss Textiles Award etc.) und Stars wie Rossy de Palma, Vanessa Paradis, Patrick Wolf oder Luke Evans gemanagt, gecastet, choreografiert oder kreativ begleitet.

Als Sänger und Songwriter macht Aellen seit einigen Jahren mit verschiedenen anerkannten Künstlern und Kombos Musik. Diese fand in mehreren Veröffentlichungen ihren Ausdruck – u.a. der Kultballade „Beyond the moon“ der Londoner Band Alf.

„Dark Crooning“ wurde von Nilesh Patel (Björk, Daft Punk u.v.m.) in den Exchange Mastering Studios in London gemastered und erscheint, von Adrian Ehrat (Vogue Hommes International) und Silvio Waser grafisch und fotografisch verpackt, am 6. August 2010.
